Terms of Use

ROOPlace runs rooplace.com, a free fan site for Ragnarok Origin Classic players: a game database, redeem codes, a class tier list and build guides, and a community with a forum, private messages, a gallery, profiles with characters, guilds and events. You can read the site without an account. Write to [email protected] about these Terms, legal notices or your account.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services without a parent's consent in your country if it is higher, to create an account. You confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.

You sign in with a link sent to your e-mail or with Google, Discord, GitHub, Twitch or LINE. Keep that e-mail and those accounts secure: you are responsible for what is done through your account. One person per account; do not share, sell or transfer it, and do not impersonate anyone. You can close your account at any time on the account page; it is deleted after a 30-day grace period in which you can change your mind.

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting (topics, replies, comments, gallery pictures and videos, guild announcements and events), you give ROOPlace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, show and adapt the format of your content on the site for as long as it stays there. You confirm you have the right to post it. You can delete what you posted at any time. When you close your account, your guides, topics and replies stay on the site without your name or any link to you, so conversations other members took part in keep making sense; your private messages and gallery items are deleted. Delete what you do not want to keep before closing. Copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days.

Be respectful. These rules apply to private messages, the gallery and guilds too. Do not post or send:

• hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats or bullying;
• spam, flooding or unsolicited advertising, including for private servers;
• sexual, gory or illegal content, or links to it;
• personal information about anyone, including yourself;
• cheats, hacks, bots, exploits, or offers to buy or sell accounts, items or zeny for real money;
• content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark, or that impersonates another person.

Keep topics in the right category and pictures and videos about the game.

Moderators may remove content, close topics, and suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or the law. When we act on your content or account, we tell you what we did, why, the rule or law concerned and how to appeal, unless that would be unlawful or put someone at risk. You can appeal within 6 months from the notice or by writing to [email protected]; someone who did not take the original decision reviews it and we tell you the result.

Every post, comment and gallery item has a Report button. Give the reason, explain the problem and confirm that the report is made in good faith; you can also write to [email protected]. We confirm that we received the report, review it promptly and tell you what we decided. Threats to someone's life or safety are reported to the authorities.

Ragnarok Origin Classic and its names, images and game data belong to Gravity and its licensors. ROOPlace is an independent fan site with no partnership, sponsorship or affiliation with Gravity. Game information on the site may be incomplete or out of date.

The site is free and offered as it is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we cannot promise it is error-free, complete or always available, and we may change or stop features.

As far as the law allows, ROOPlace is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or in-game losses that come from using the site, from content posted by other members or from third-party sites linked from it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

We may update these Terms when the site or the law changes. The date at the top changes, and for important changes we tell signed-in members before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the site and close your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
